SMA 101 – Introduction to Shibaura Die Casting Machines
The SMA 101 course serves as a fundamental introduction to Shibaura Die Casting Machines. It covers topics such as die casting safety, machine preparation, fluid filling, power system checks, origin setting, pressure setup, and more. By completing this course, participants will acquire the skills to operate Shibaura's die-cast machines correctly.

SMA 102 – Casting Preparation and Production Startup
Designed to expand on the knowledge gained in SMA 101, SMA 102 focuses on casting preparation and production startup. It covers critical areas like pressure setup, casting setup, core handling, injection input data, ladle and sprayer usage, takeout procedures, and production part adjustments. Participants will develop a solid understanding of machine setup information and process parameters.

SMA 103 – Production and Basic Process Control
Building upon the foundation laid in previous courses, SMA 103 delves into production and basic process control. Participants will review die casting safety, explore TOSCAST instructions, learn about die casting process variables, and gain insights into die open/close position speed, injection speed, and more. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the die casting process as it relates to machine functionality.

SMA 201 – Process Control
Taking a deeper dive into process control, SMA 201 expands on the concepts covered in previous courses. It covers quality monitoring pages setup, general casting technology, variables affecting the process, and corrective measures. SMA 301 – Machine Troubleshooting for Operators
Focusing on troubleshooting skills, SMA 301 equips participants with the knowledge to effectively address machine-related issues. Participants will gain valuable insights into alarm recovery and problem-solving techniques.
