View the Future with You: Highlights from Shibaura Machine Group's 2023 Solutions Fair

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL, November 7, 2023 - 

The Shibaura Machine Group held its much-anticipated Solutions Fair last week from October 31st to November 2nd. The event showcased a blend of cutting-edge technology and rich cultural heritage of their Numazu and Gotemba Plants in Japan.

A Glimpse into the Future of Machine Tools

The event was a technological tour, with Shibaura Machine America's machine tool division hosting an array of customers and dealers. Attendees got an exclusive look at the latest machine tool technology from Shibaura Machine Japan. One of the highlights included the newly launched MPC-H, a high-precision double-column machine renowned for its superior accuracy and efficiency in die machining.

Fusion of Technology and Expertise

The fair was not just about showcasing machines; it was an immersive experience. Technical seminars explored the capabilities of selected machine tools, while Stir Friction Welding and Nano Processing Systems offered a glimpse into the future of manufacturing processes. 

The R&D center tour featured machines like the BTD-110S.R16 and highlighted comprehensive machining solutions with spindle attachments and also cutting tools supplied by Shibaura Machine’s partners.

Participants also had the opportunity to explore the culture and history of Japan before heading back to the USA. These excursions showcased the multifaceted nature of the area, from temples to the Skytree, and shopping in the Ginza area, where the vibrant energy of modern Japan comes to life.
