What's New with IIoT at IMTS 2026: machiNetCloud Launches New Features

How the new Production Dashboard and Service Gatekeeper turn connected machines into faster answers.

Knowing how a machine is running has usually meant walking the floor or pulling logs after the shift. Getting support has meant a phone call, an email, and some waiting before a technician ever connects. At IMTS 2026, Shibaura Machine will debut two additions to the machiNetCloud IIoT platform, built with IIoT partner ei3, that remove both: a Production Dashboard that shows exactly how every connected machine is running, and a service request that starts with a QR scan.

A live view of every connected machine

The new Machine Tool Production Dashboard puts a machine's whole story on one screen: how it is running right now, and how it ran over the last shift, day, or week.

Status at a glance. Running, idle, or stopped, with part count and the program in progress, visible to authorized machiNetCloud users.

A color-coded timeline. The machine's state history makes patterns and bottlenecks easy to spot, and any period can be selected and examined.

Spindle, axis, and alarm detail. Load and speed data show how the machine performs during a cycle, and the alarm history shows what keeps interrupting it.

The dashboard lives in the same portal customers already use for their connected machines. No new hardware, no separate login.

Remote service that starts with a scan

The new Service Gatekeeper experience replaces the back and forth with a scan of the QR code on the machine.

Scan and request. The code opens a service request tied to that exact machine, with no searching or manual setup.

Works where the customer works. The same one-click request runs from the mobile app or the customer portal.

A case opens automatically. A priority service case is raised with the right details attached, so the request reaches the right team fast.

The name is the point “Service Gatekeeper”. The machine owner stays in control of who connects to the equipment, and every session is logged and auditable.

See it running at IMTS 2026

Both features will run live on real machine data at IMTS 2026, September 14-19 at McCormick Place in Chicago, South Building, Booth #339424. Come visit our booth and talk with the team for a demo.
