Visit Us at IMTS 2022 & See The FANUC Control on the BTH-130.R24 Horizontal Boring Machine
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL, August 2, 2022 -
When it comes to carrying out the machining process, machinists want a control system that is both efficient and reliable in order to get the job done with high quality and consistency. In order to maintain high performance, it is also essential that the machinist is able to easily operate the control system.
With the voice of the customer in mind, we have responded with innovative solutions to ensure they are able to meet these needs and maintain a competitive edge. Designed with the operator in mind, the BTH-130.R24 horizontal boring machine (HBM) allows machinists to leverage either the TOSNUC or FANUC control systems. Doing so provides machinists with the necessary capabilities to get the job done right the first time.
Improve Productivity From Day 1
The BTH-130.R24 was designed to provide horizontal boring capability with the flexibility and productivity of a machining center. Offering both the TOSNUC and FANUC controls systems enables you to get the most out of your machine, meeting the unique needs of job requirements without the operational complexity.
FANUC Control
As a world-class technology leader in CNC control designs, Shibaura Machine is proud to offer customers this option. Many machinists have become familiar with FANUC controls over the years and this solution provides a cost-effective option for machine tool applications. FANUC offers worldwide support for both applications, services, and parts.
TOSNUC Control
Shibaura Machine’s proprietary control brings a user-friendly interface and versatility onto your production floor. Using simple G-Code, machinists can track tool length offset when extending the spindle or customized program buttons can be set for shortcuts to functions and viewing capabilities. Operators can also utilize macro programming to improve efficiency by creating their own cycles. Developed by our own application engineers, it focuses on ease of use and improving productivity and performance.
