Simplifying Machine Tool Importation For Our North American Customers
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL, June 6, 2022 -
Shopping for the right machine tool can be complex.
From choosing a machine tool to meet production and budgetary requirements to ensuring importation procedures are met and machinery is compliant with North American requirements, the whole process can be time-consuming and confusing. Not to mention there is no universal standard for “good quality”, so choosing a machinery partner that displays high integrity is of utmost importance.
In the Americas, our Machine Tool division works to take the complexity out of the purchasing journey. With our Americas team being wholly owned by Shibaura Machine, Japan we collectively work together towards our mission to evolve in the closest cooperation with our customers. This means we listen to the needs and concerns of our customers, not just providing innovative solutions for them to maintain a competitive edge, but ensuring a superior overall experience with our company. This largely includes a reliable and easy “one-stop shopping” experience for our North American customers.
Seamless Machine Tool Importation
We believe once you find the right machine tool for your factory, getting it delivered shouldn’t be a hassle.
However, it often falls on the customer to ensure compliance and regulations are covered for the importation of the equipment. This can include the right labeling, providing safety instructions, user manuals, and technical files. It can also include third-party certifications and ensuring the supplier has the proper documentation for the machine tool you wish to purchase. When importing machine tools in this manner, you as a buyer need to fully understand the implications and scope of regulations that apply in your country.
Shibaura Machine Company, America's Machine Tool Division makes sure the customer is covered by working directly with Shibaura Machine, Japan. This means we take on the responsibility for importation, customs clearance, ocean freight, and insurance for all the equipment entering North America from our Japanese factories. With this relationship, customers can rest assured the machine tools are quality inspected and tested to the highest standards and have the proper documentation to travel over borders. Moreover, customers can count on exceptional post-sale support and application engineering expertise.
Our Machine Tool Division looks forward to serving you. Contact us to learn more.
