Space saving hydraulic clamp design
The ISGT clamp combines Shibaura Machine's unique tie bar locking system with a direct pressure type mold clamping cylinder, making it 30% shorter than conventional models. Its main ram contains less than 10% of the oil used by conventional hydraulic clamps, decreasing fluid use by as much as 50%. Less time is required for pressure build up, reducing cycle time.
